What our members have to say about their experience with Zonta
I first became aware of Zonta Club after the City of Brampton International Women’s Day Celebration in 2021. I knew instantly that it was an organization I wanted to be a part of, and was fortunate to receive an invite from member, Marion Reeves, to attend one of the monthly meetings as a guest. It was wildly refreshing to be amongst like-purposed women who believed whole-heartedly in lifting each other, and our community, UP through service and advocacy. Zonta allows me to be community-focused while also expanding my horizons when it comes to International Initiatives like the UN’s Commission on the Status of Women. I love that there are always opportunities to learn and grow through this club, and look forward to all of the meaningful projects that we’ll get to work on together!
— Lisa clarke (member since 2021 & 2022 Communications chair)
I have been a member of the Zonta Club of Brampton-Caledon since 2011. As a member, I continuously meet, work with and learn from amazing women as we serve our community together. We inspire each other to make the world a better place for women and girls locally and internationally. Through Zonta membership, I have attended educational and advocacy sessions at the United Nations in New York where I saw the positive impact of our work on a worldwide scale. Leadership experiences and friendships formed are certainly a valued bonus!
