Take Back the Night 2024

We came together as a community to reclaim our space and advocate for our safety. It was OUR night!

We marched together, carrying signs, calling out slogans, such as: “Tonight’s the night, to take back the night”!

We connected with many of the social service agencies that we help fund through our financial donations and advocacy support so great relationship building.  A full ending with an evening walk of 2 km (police escort required) networking, listening to stories from survivors of gender-based violence, and a traditional opening smudge ceremony.
